How influence works
Influence sets the qualifying Merit Score for internal roles and orders the one Commission signatory spare list. It never changes the weight of your vote.
The formula
Merit = Seniority
+ Activity × 0.5^(age_days / 365)
+ Networking× 0.5^(age_days / 365)
+ Donation- Seniority: 50 for verified #1–500, 20 for #501–3,000, then 0. Permanent.
- Activity: 1 per vote, 10 per check-in, 200 per passed proposal (shared across co-authors).
- Networking: 20 when a recruit verifies and casts a first vote. Diminishing per recruiter each month.
- Donation: flat at the time of the gift, capped at 150, from a published curve.
Merit calculator
Reproduce any score with the published formula. Nothing here weights your vote — it only estimates your contribution over time.
Every activity and networking point loses half its value each year from the day it was earned. A point earned today stays worth more than the same point earned last month.
Merit never weights your vote. Every verified member has exactly one ballot; merit only sets the qualifying score for internal roles and orders the one Commission signatory spare list.
Donation merit is flat at the time of the gift and capped at 150, deliberately below the qualifying Merit Score for roles and candidacies: a gift alone can never open the candidate door.
